The Shooting Location Was Haunted

“Strange Rooms” is a true horror story about a haunted apartment in Hollywood. The movie is about a haunted apartment that was filmed in a real haunted apartment. Below is a horrifying story from one production assistant while she stayed at that apartment for watching the expensive shooting stuff at night.

"The first night, while I was sleeping in bed at that apartment, I was wakened up by some urgent knocks coming from that apartment front door. I got up and went to the front door. I looked through a peephole, I didn’t see anyone in the hallway, but the knocks were still going on. I asked: “Who is this?” No one answered me, but the knocks stopped right away. I opened the door; I saw no one was outside. I was too tired to think, so I went back to my bed and fell into sleep right away.

Later, the music box on the dresser suddenly turned on. I felt like someone was jumping on my bed to the tone of the music. I slowly woke up and looked at the music box. The music was still going on. I asked myself: “How could that damned music box turn on by itself at mid-night?” But before long I fell back asleep again.

Later, I gradually woke up with the feeling of two large hairy hands holding both of my wrists behind my back. The feeling was incredibly strong and I could also hear heavy breathing coming from behind me. Although my mind had woken up, my eyes were still not able to open. I was struggling hard to get rid of those two hands. My eyes finally opened and the hands were gone. I looked at the clock on the wall, it was exactly 3 o’clock in the morning. It felt to me as if the bed was jumping up and down. I saw that the couch and the chair were shaking back and forth like two boats being tossed about on a rough sea. The curtain was blowing by itself even though all the windows were tightly shut. Some of the furniture had actually changed positions. I scanned over the whole room; the light was on. I thought it might be my dream again, but I couldn’t understand why the chair, couch and the bed would be shaking. Maybe an earthquake had happened while I was sleeping but why had some of the other furniture changed their positions? It was strange. I was too tired to think about it very much and fell back to sleep again.

The next day, when I woke up, I found myself sleeping on the street in front of the complex. I never had sleepwalking problem in the past. It was really strange. The following night, much more scary things happened to me in that apartment. They made me jumped out of that apartment at mid-night.

That night, I was awakened by the crash of the chair in my bedroom and the loud sound of cabinet doors slamming and windows opening and crashing closed again. I opened my eyes and turned on the lights. I saw nothing was wrong with neither the chair nor the cabinet. So I fell asleep again.

I was awakened a second time by my bed shaking and the springs making grinding noises inside the mattress I felt something inside my mattress was stroking my legs and thigh! It seemed that it was coming from the mattress. With a leap, something jumped out of the mattress! I opened my eyes widely. But I didn’t see anyone inside my apartment. Soon, I fell asleep again. In my dream, I saw a young Hispanic looking woman with short curly hair in a white robe screaming angrily and loudly next to my bed.

The third time, I woke up by a hand touching my thigh. The feeling on my body was so strong and real. I screamed loudly, struggled and finally got rid of the hand. I sat up in my bed, turned on the lights and looked around. I was scared and suspiciously looked around my bedroom. I thought ghosts might really exist in this world as some people said.

Suddenly I heard some loud and urgent knocks at my bedroom door. I was alone. This time, I was fully awakened while the knocks continued. The apartment was so quiet at night. It made the knocks sound so clear and creepy. Who could be there? Outside the bedroom, there was a bathroom, kitchen, living room and balcony in that apartment. I suddenly recalled hearing the same knocks last night. At that time, I thought it might be a mischievous neighbor, though it was very strange. But this time, the knocks were coming from the inside of the bedroom door, right inside the apartment! I was scared to death. I clearly recognized that it wasn’t just me, something was seriously wrong at my apartment. My body was quivering. My heart almost jumped out of my body. I got up my courage and asked “Who’s there?” but no one answered. All of sudden, the knocking stopped. The bedroom door began to RATTLE and then began to CREEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAKKK open slowly. A light mist entered the room. I heard footsteps entering the room and approaching the walk-in closet door.

A long dark and giant shadow crawling up the wall with sharp spindly nails and towards the closet which was next to my bed. A blast of icy, cold air blew past me. I also smelled a very strong pungent odor. The curtain started to move slowly to one side. The closet door creaked open and the closet light was switched on by an invisible force. I heard some swishing and rustling noises. It seemed like someone was rummaging something in the closet. I was frightened and held my breath tightly. I covered myself under the blankets and was shivering. Suddenly my blankets were pulled off by an invisible force. I felt two hands pull away my blankets from the bottom of my bed. I was scared to the death.

I gathered enough my courage and jumped out of the bed suddenly, grabbed my car key from a nightstand next to the bed, and ran out of that apartment quickly in my underwear, T-shirt and barefoot... The next day, I quit that job."
